Chelsea Nichole is not a jazz singer although she started her career that way. She is an artist who speaks from the soul, a vocalist who sings from the heart and a woman who loves.
For many years Chelsea Nichole has partnered with famous Jazz musician Jeff Lorber as a songwriting companion. After appearing on his album in 1998, she has continued to work as a session singer and songwriter as well as perform for her fan base in Los Angeles and in New York.
In addition to independently releasing her two records, "Through a Woman's Eyes" and "Spiritual Man" she has and continues to collaborate with many well-known producers and wrote songs for many prolific performers including Jeff Lorber, Tabiha Faire,Martine Mai, Wah Wah Watson, Andre Delano, Fanatic, Chris Camozzi, Dave Koz, Victor Fields, and gospel artist Kenny Smith. Her collaboration and vocal performance of the song "If I didn't have love" written with Dave Koz and Jeff Lorber was featured on the album "Slow Burn" by artist Chris Camozzi. She also co-wrote the theme song for the organization Rosemary Children Services which offers shelter and foster care for many children in Los Angeles.
Chelsea is currently working on her newest album, "Love and Laughter" which is a compilation of songs about the humor and reality of relationships. Her single, " I can't stop loving you" just released on Itunes and is in rotation on commercial radio. She is slated to perform in New York, Los Angeles and Kentucky this quarter.
Chelsea Is a self taught producer, phenomenal vocalist and songwriter and a marketable personality.
